CDNIS Invitational U16 Boys & Girls Tournament 10th Jan at CDNIS

Our U16 Girls played in this tournament and found the going very difficult especially playing 4 games in one day. They did not come away with any wins. However, the experience of playing so many games gave them an opportunity to put a number of defensive and offensive plays together. In all their matches they played with a sense of fair play and never gave up. Hopefully, they will continue to build from this experience. Player of the day was Da young Choi who worked tirelessly at both end of the court.

In a U14 Boys Basketball game between ICS and Island School an excellent performance was shown by Jonathan Sun who scored over half the points for his team (16 points) in their 31- 48 loss to Island School.

U20 Boys Basketball played well for 3/4 of their match against HKIS a much taller and bigger team then themselves. In the early stages of the match ICS was very much the equal of their opposition and were able to keep the ball off the court to move their bigger opposition around the court. However, in the last quarter they began to lose their composure and structure as a result allowed HKIS take the game out. Hopefully, the next time our U20 Boys play again they will finish strongly.
